We spent Charlie's birthday weekend in San Antonio.
It was so much fun hanging out my sister, Chelsea, and her boyfriend, Gavin.
They have the best hospitality and their main focus was making Charles happy!
So sweet :)
We arrived Friday evening and went to dinner at Pasha Mediterranean Grill.
It was so freaking delicious!
They have the BEST naan bread.
It's as big as a large pizza and they serve it with olive oil and seasoning.
After we ate, we headed back to my sister's house and watched scary movies.
My sister mixed up a few drinks and thee guys got a little wasted. Haha.
I don't drink, but I did enjoy watching them!
Saturday morning Chelsea made us a huge breakfast.
Afterwards, we got ready to head to the Riverwalk.
Believe it or not, but it was my FIRST time there.
My sister wanted us to do something different, so we decided to go on the boat tour!
It was SO much FUN!
Liam enjoyed all sights and the weather was absolutely beautiful.
San Antonio may be super congested, but it always seems to have the best weather.
We ate on the Riverwalk at a Mexican restaurant called, Casa Rio.
It was good, but definitely not as delicious as El Toros! (that's the white girl in me.)
We headed back home after a few hours of walking around.
Everyone was so exhausted, we were all tempted to take a nap with Liam.
Instead we ordered take-out and watched some more scary movies.
It felt so good just to relax for once!
We all woke up late Sunday morning, so we skipped breakfast and headed out for lunch.
Last time Charles and I went to San Antonio we ate at a Greek restaurant called, Papouli's.
We decided to try it again, because it was so good before.
They were just as amazing this time around.
They have super fluffy pita bread!
I loved it!
After lunch, we were on the road headed back home.
The trip to San Antonio was great, Liam slept most of the way.
The trip back was totally opposite!
He cried throughout the entire trip, because he is teething and he hated being in the car seat.
It took us an extra hour just to get home, but it was nice to stop and stretch about 5 times. Haha.
Plus, we were able to stop at Potter's Pecans and pick up some delicious Cinnamon Sugar covered Pecans!
When we made it back home, we stopped by our friends, Luis and Brittnee's home.
They had a sweet surprise for Charles!
He finally got the Ice Cream Cake he has been wanting :)
Here are a few pictures of the boat tour:
